Charlie Celeban

Charlie Celeban is a transgender Swedish-Australian film director, writer, composer and cinematographer, producer, and author of short texts. Her career bloomed from an interest in film and media in her youth. While she got her start from creating short films for academic purposes, her style of direction evolved from amateurish and quaintly imperfect to colourfully stylistic, employing the use of rich grains and saturated colour schemes, and utilising melancholy atmospheres to create comforting yet disturbing pieces of surrealist narrative. A real go-getter.
